Balaji Murugadoss returns Behindwoods award

On Sunday, May 30, Behindwoods TV awards was aired on Vijay Television. Ex-Bigg Boss contestant who won the award was shocked to see his speech cut out from the television airing. He then took to social media to reveal that he is returning the Behindwoods award. While accepting the award, Balaji criticised Behindwoods team for letting people review Bigg Boss and claimed that it tarnished the image of the contestants.

He wrote, "So this @behindwoods who gave green signal to. Tarnish every BB contestants in the name of review except one. couldn’t take my 2mins review about their reviewers on their own stage so they didn’t telecaste my award winning speech or moment, I think Spoke right I guess I’m proud. I’m a guy with no background ? Yes ! That’s never gonna stop me from speaking my heart out (sic)." He also revealed what he spoke at the award function and wrote, "So what I actually spoke in behindhoods awards is please don’t assassinate contestants character in the name of review it will affect the future contestants . And all the reviewers are not Mahatma Gandhi or mother teresa. I can only take responsibility of what I spoke. Thank you. Stop twisting my action and intentions like you did when I was inside BB house Returning the award is no way related to any specific reviewers or contestants. It’s only about my “self respect” “And oppression of speech”. It’s ends here. Thank you (sic)."
