Nandamuri Balakrishna joined hands with director KS Ravikumar for the first time and came up with 'Jai Simha' movie which became a decent hit. Now, the duo came up with their second outing together.
Titled as 'Ruler', Balayya played the role of a sincere cop in this film. Producer C Kalyan bankrolled this project which featured Sonal Chauhan and Vedhika as the female leads and Bhumika Chawla in a key role. The film released last Friday and has been receiving mixed reviews from the audience. The box-office collections are also not that great. However, producer C Kalyan is now claiming that 'Ruler' is a hit film and that the collections got affected only due to piracy. He further added that they have already got hundreds of pirated links removed from various websites. It looks like the producer has already given a commitment to the hero about the same. Also, during the pre-release event, the producer promised Paruchuri Murali a film with Balakrishna but we have to see if KS Ravi Kumar steps in again for the project.
Apart from this, C Kalyan of CK Entertainments banner announced that he will make another movie in the combination of Balakrishna and KS Ravikumar.
