Betaal produced by Shah Rukh Khan will release on May 24, 2020!

Shah Rukh Khan's 'Betaal' is a truly international mix. It is a collaboration between Netflix, Red Chillies entertainment, Blum House (makers of Paranormal Activity, Insidious, etc) and SK Global (behind Crazy Rich Asians and Delhi Crime). The film is a horror-thriller. Written and co-directed by no other than Patrick Graham. He also directed Ghoul (2028) starring Radhika Apte. He also wrote Leila starring Huma Quresh. Both the shows were a hit within the streaming network. Netflix will premier Betaal on May 24 produced by Shah Rukh Khan's Red Chillies Entertainment.

Betaal has Vineet Kumar, Aahana Kumra, Suchitra Pillai, Jitendra Joshi, Manjiri Pupala, Syna Anand, Jatin Goswami, Siddharth Menon, Yashwant Wasnik, and Savita Bajaj. The plot of the film is set in a village that becomes a battleground. The battle is between a group of zombies led by the British Indian Army officer, Betaal, and the Indian police. Shot mostly in India, it shows many national sites to increase the effects. The plot follows a fictional Indian folklore. which is why to retain the effects of its setting the film's shooting took place in Mumbai, Lonavala, and Khandala. The series will showcase the good quality of genre-bending by incorporating VFX and prosthetics work. Red Chillies entertainments took to Twitter to promote the show.
