Bhumi Pednekar to star in upcoming thriller film titled Durgavati

While Akshay Kumar’s Cape Of Good Films and Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series will present the project, Ashok will direct the film. Vikram Malhotra’s Abundantia Entertainment is financing it. Akshay Kumar took to Twitter to announce the news, “EXCITED to announce @bhumipednekar in & as #DURGAVATI. A scary-thriller, going on floor mid-January. Presented by #CapeOfGoodFilms and @itsBhushanKumar, produced by @vikramix and directed by Ashok. Need your love and luck @TSeries @Abundantia_Ent.”

Along with the caption, a picture of the team was also posted with Bhumi Pednekar in the middle. She previously delivered hits with Bala and Saand Ki Aankh earlier this year. Her upcoming release, Pati Patni Aur Woh alongside Kartik Aaryan and Ananya Panday is set for a release next week. Bhumi also has Bhoot Part One: The Haunted Ship with Vicky Kaushal, and Takht, amongst others, lined up.
