Bigil & Kaithi movies cashing on extended weekend advantage

As per the buzz from the trade sources in the Kollywood film industry, the films Bigil and Kaithi will have four days opening weekend advantage in Tamilnadu. Since the government of Tamil Nadu state declared Monday as a holiday, it will surely boost the revenues of the new releases. The day after Diwali, being a holiday is a much-welcoming move.

The government declared a holiday on October 28th and announced that November 9th will be a working day for the Government employees & educational institutions.
Comparatively, a big advantage for Bigil is on cards as the makers will mint maximum money in four days. Bigil movies carry huge buzz when compared to Kaithi. Both films carry huge expectations and have a fair chance to create a new opening weekend record in Tamil Nadu.
Directed by Atlee Kumar, Bigil is going to release in Telugu with the title Whistle. Karthi's movie Kaithi hits the screens with the title Khaidi in Telugu.
