Bobby Deol to play lead in Arth remake.

Actor Bobby Deol is in talks to play the lead in the remake of movie Arth.

The original Mahesh Bhatt's Arth was a hit in 1982 and starred Khulbushan Kharbanda. Talks for the remake of the movie are in progress and it is reported that Bobby Deol will be playing lead. Reportedly in an exclusive with TOI Bobby stated that he is in talks, but hasn't signed anything as yet. Reports also suggests that Jacqueline Fernandez and Swara Bhasker are to play female leads and the movie will be directed by Revathi. What's more interesting is that director Revathi played Shabana Azmi role in the Tamil remake titled Marupadiyum.

Recently Bobby made an impressive debut in the web series Aashram. He even won the Dadasaheb Phalke International Film Festival Award for his performance in the series. The actor also featured in the film, 'Class of '83' and will be seen next in the movie Animal along with Ranbir Kapoor.
