India’s biggest action-thriller Saaho is all set for a huge release on August 30 worldwide. This movie has done the biggest pre-release business after Shankar’s 2.0 and Rajamouli’s Bahubali-2. Though the numbers are too hight tit might not be a matter for Saaho considering the craze that Prabhas has attained post-Bahubali.
Saaho did 125 crores business in AP and Telangana alone and if it manages to cross that number, it will become a non-Bahubali hit at the box office crossing Rangasthalam. Nizam goes for 40 crores, Ceeded for 24 crores, East and West for 19 crores, Vizag for 15 crores, Guntur and Nellore for 7 crores. Coming to the other languages, Saaho has to reach 28 crores in Karnataka and 20 crores in Tamilnadu for break-even.
On the other side, this movie sold its overseas rights for 42 crores to Phars films in Dubai. That means Saaho has made about 290 crores business in total. Hence Saaho needs to get a share of 300 crores for distributors to get into profits. Sources say that Saaho will get those numbers with ease with the hype and buzz around this movie. Meanwhile, the digital streaming rights in all languages of this movie were sold for 40 crores.
Combining satellite rights and music rights, Saaho did 500 crores pre-release business in total. Saaho for Saaho 500 crores is the target combining all the languages. Robb 2.0 stands tall with 550 crores pre-release business and Bahubali-2 did 510 crores business which is ahead of Saaho.
