When it comes to making films, the budget plays a major role. In the past, films that are made on a huge budget didn’t perform well at the box office. It is the same case with Mahesh Babu as well. He is now acting in his 25th film Maharshi.
Reportedly, director Vamsi Paidipally is known for spending more than the stipulated budget because of which the film may not taste profits. His last film Oopiri met with positive reviews, but it didn’t earn much, thanks to its heavy budget.
Now, coming to Maharshi, the film has been shot in Hyderabad, Ramoji Film City, Himachal Pradesh, Pune, New York, and the team has now gone to Dubai to shoot some important portions. We wonder if the film is made with a fixed budget or if they have overshot it already.
But one thing is for sure, producers Dil Raju and Ashwini Dutt of PVP are sure to make Maharshi grand in every possible way. We hope that the film is made with a fixed budget so that the producers can enjoy the success with profits.
Maharshi has Mahesh Babu and Pooja Hegde teaming up for the first time. The film, which was supposed to hit the theatres on April 5 has now been postponed to April 25.
