Buzz: Director Mysskin walks out of Thupparivaalan 2 due to budget disagreements

Thupparivaalan is a 2017 detective Tamil thriller that featured Vishal as the lead. It also got dubbed into Telugu as Detective. Directed by Mysskin, this film was a success at the box office. Last year, the makers have announced a sequel for it with the same cast and crew and kickstarted Thupparivaalan 2. They also wrapped up a 40 days schedule in London. But, we now hear that director Mysskin is no longer a part of this film due to the budget disagreements.

According to the sources, there was a spat between Mysskin and the producers about the budget and his remuneration which led the director to exit the project. We still don't know who will take over the project now as only a few portions are remaining to get filmed. But we heard that Vishal is planning to direct the rest of the portions himself. Thupparivaalan featured Prasanna, Vinay, Anu Emmanuel and Andrea Jeremiah in the other important roles. The sequel will have Prasanna but feature new cast members like Lovely Singh, Nassar, Gauthami and Rahman. Vishal himself is bankrolling the film under his home banner Vishal Film Factory.
