Buzz goes up on Suriya's next film, but...

It has been a while since hero Suriya scored a big hit. His last two films, NGK and Bandobast, which released in 2019, have turned out to be failures at the box office. To hit the bulls-eye this time, the actor is coming up with the film Soorarai Pottru (Aakashame Nee Haddura in Telugu). Sudha Kongara of Guru fame is directing this movie.

The shooting part of the film was wrapped up more than a month ago and currently, Sudha is busy in the post-production works of it. Meanwhile, this morning, the team has announced that the second look of the film will be out at 5 pm today. Keeping up their word, the makers have released a brand new poster on the occasion of New Year.
Suriya looks sharp and handsome as usual. The poster featured Suriya's picture with a serious look superimposed on a bird flying. It seems like the makers are justifying the Telugu title of the film 'Aakashame Nee Haddura' with the poster and comparing Suriya's character with a bird trying to fly high and achieve big. The buzz is constantly growing on the movie but we have to see if the actor's film gets a good price in the Telugu states.
Soorarai Pottru features Aparna Balmurali as the heroine. Prominent actors like Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, and Mohan Babu have essayed the other key roles in the film. It is being produced jointly by Suriya's 2D Entertainments and Guneet Monga's Shikya Entertainments. GV Prakash is composing the music for it.
