Power Star Pawan Kalyan is making his comeback into films after a gap of more than two years. He is currently acting in the film Vakeel Saab, which is being directed by Sriram Venu. Vakeel Saab is an official remake of Hindi film Pink. But, the Telugu makers have made a few changes in the script in order to suit the sensibilities of our audience. This will be more like Pink's Tamil remake Nerkonda Parvaai. According to that film, there will be an extended cameo of the protagonist's wife in the film. Vidya Balan essayed the character in the Tamil version. We hear that Shruti Haasan will play this role in the Telugu version.
Apparently, the makers are currently in talks with Shruti Haasan and an official announcement gets revealed once the actress signs the dotted lines. Both Pawan and Shruti have earlier acted together in the films Gabbar Singh and Katamarayudu. Their pairing got loved by the audience and thus, the makers of Vakeel Saab thought that Shruti will be the apt choice for this film.
Thre is a buzz that Shruti Haasan is also in talks with Harish Shankar for his upcoming movie with Pawan Kalyan. It looks like Shruti will pair up with Pawan even before that.
Dil Raju is producing Vakeel Saab in association with Boney Kapoor. Thaman is composing the music for it. The first single from the movie, Maguva Maguva got released today on the occasion of Women's Day. It is getting a good reception from the audience.
