The Censor Board has suggested making changes in Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan, which will release on January 25. The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) has already given instructions to the makers of the film.
CBFC Chairperson Prasoon Joshi has suggested to resubmit the film for certification. There is a directive to change some parts of the film, including the songs.
The film recently came before the CBFC committee for certification. According to reports, the changes came up after a thorough examination as per the board's guidelines.
Pathaan raised huge pre-release hype as a Shah Rukh Khan film. The film is coming after King Khan's break of four years. But after the release of the film's first song called Beshram Rang, controversies started to erupt. Deepika wore a saffron-colored bikini for the song. This angered a section. After that, there were calls not to screen the film and to boycott it.
But while the controversies are happening on the sides there are other news about the film as well. As per reports the post-release business of the film is doing well due to the hype created by the film. In a major update, a new report claims that Pathaan's OTT rights have already gone off the books for crores.
As per reports, Amazon Prime Video has acquired the OTT rights of Pathaan. According to reports, Pathaan, will hit the theaters in January. The film will release on OTT in late March or early April. As of now, the makers are not making any official announcement about Pathaan's OTT release.
As per reports, Amazon Prime bought the digital streaming rights for Rs 100 crore on Saturday.
