Mahanati cinematographer Dani Sanchez-Lopez comes on board for Rana Daggubati's Virata Parvam since the original cinematographer quit the film.

Change of cinematographer for Rana Daggubati's Virata Parvam movie

Jayakrishna Gummadi is a well known Telugu cinematographer who worked on various language films. In Telugu, he worked for films like Mr. and Mrs. Sailaja Krishnamoorthy, Andari Bandhuvaya and Okkadunnadu. Recently, he signed as the DOP for the upcoming Telugu film, Virata Parvam 1992, directed by Venu Udugula of Needi Naadi Oke Katha's fame.

The film also completed a few of its schedules. Now, due to the date clashes with his other commitments, Jayakrishna has moved out of the project. He is now replaced by another noted cinematographer, Dani Sanchez-Lopez, who earlier worked for the films like Detective Byomkesh Bakshi and Mahanati. Dani is also working for Keerthy Suresh's upcoming movie, Miss India.
He will be joining the sets of Virata Parvam very soon. Set in the year 1992, the story of Virata Parvam revolves around Naxalism in Andhra Pradesh. Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi are playing the lead roles in the movie. While Rana is essaying the role of a journalist, Sai Pallavi is playing a Naxalite character.
Director Venu is making this film by getting inspired by a few real-life incidents. Noted actors like Nanditha Das, Eeshwari Rao, and Zareena Wahab are also playing a few key roles in this movie. Virata Parvam will hit the screens in mid-2020.
