For the first time in his career, the most celebrated actor of Malayalam Cinema, Mohanlal has decided to move behind the camera and wield the megaphone for a children fantasy movie titled 'Barroz'.
After giving a big surprise to the audience by announcing this project, Mohanlal has introduced Spanish actors Paz Vega and Rafael Amargo as the lead roles in the film. Now, Mohanlal has given yet another surprise by roping in child prodigy Lydian Nadaswaram as the music director for his directorial debut. Lydian who is a student of A R Rahman's Music Academy shot to fame after winning the CBS Talent show, 'The World's Best'. The little boy also appeared in Ellen DeGeneres' TV show. As #Barroz is going to be a children's film, Mohanlal has decided to get this talented musician on board. Touted to be a fantasy thriller for children, the shooting of the movie will go on roll very soon in Goa.
Lydian began working on the audio album of the film already. The story is set against the backdrop of the maritime history of Portugal, Spain, Africa, and India. Barroz will be a 3D film and the story is adoption from 'My Dear Kuttichathan' fame Jijo Punnoose's 'Barroz – Guardian of D’ Gama’s Treasure.'
