Chinmayi Sripaada is back to dubbing in Kollywood

Singer Chinmayi Sripaada has been a crusader of sorts during the #MeToo movement and helped many men and women in coming out with their horror stories. Apart from singing, she is a popular dubbing artist in Tamil and Telugu. Since she exposed Dubbing Union's president, Mr. Radha Ravi, in #MeToo, she got banned by the Union.

Chinmayi approached the court regarding her ban and got it stayed as well. Yet, she was in the blacklist and failed to get any opportunities in Kollywood. Now, the tables have turned as the singer is dubbing for Kalyani Priyadarshan in Sivakarthikeyan starrer Hero, which will release on December 20.
Chinmayi Sripaada shared the trailer of Hero and thanked Mithran and KJR Studios for giving her the opportunity despite all controversies. Sharing the trailer, she wrote, "After an uphill battle and after a year and some days - I dub in a Tamil film (Not counting Oh Baby’s dubbed version). I know how P S Mithran worked around with the Dubbing Union and Mr. Radha Ravi. Thank you, Mithran. You and the Producer are my heroes :)(sic)"
