‘Chitralahari’ marks Sai Tej’s highest grosser in US
Seems like Sai Dharam Tej a.k.a Sai Tej broke the circle of misfortune with his latest flick ‘Chitralahari’. After six consecutive flops, the Supreme Hero is back with a bang. The makers of the film have announced the collections of the movie as of Saturday and it is recorded to be the highest in the career of the ‘Winner’ star. The movie collected $200K+ in the USA beating Sai Tej's previous highest Jawaan gross $194K+.
The makers of the film are anticipating that the movie would cross the $300K mark by end of the first week. Sarigama Cinemas had the distribution rights of the film in the US. On this note, Sai Tej took to the media saying “Please do not encourage piracy and watch Chitralahari with your friends and family in theatres.”
Kishore Tirumala wielded the megaphone for this youthful flick while Devi Sri Prasad’s music has already struck the cord with his lively tunes which added to the story. Priyadarshan and Nivetha Pethuraj shared the screen as female leads.
