Chiyaan Vikram is thrilled about his upcoming film, Cobra. Directed by Ajay Gnanamuthu, the film also stars former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan and KGF actress Srinidhi Shetty in the lead roles. On January 9, the team released the film's teaser. From the one minute long teaser, it is clear that Vikram plays an extraordinary mathetician who uses his skill to solve impossible crimes. As a strong antagonist Irfan Pathan's character can be seen challenging Vikram's character.
Sharing the teaser, Seven Screen Studios wrote, "A world of numbers & the genius #ChiyaanVikram,Loaded wit all things intriguing,presenting the #CobraTeaser dir. by @AjayGnanamuthu ,An @arrahman Musical #Cobra." The Cobra team was supposed to shoot a major portion in Russia. However, they had to stall the Russian schedule and get back to India due to the travel ban imposed by the Indian government. Now, the makers are waiting to get back to Russia to shoot the remaining film.
