Vikram is one of the most versatile and hardworking actors of Indian cinema. But unfortunately, the script selection of Vikram is going wrong from the past few years, which ending up his films as flops at the box office. His last film Kadaram Kondan also remained a disappointing venture. Currently, Vikram is working on his next film Cobra, which is in the shooting stages.
According to the Kollywood sources, the makers of this movie are planning to release it on May 21st, during the Ramzan season. As it is a holiday weekend, the team is thinking that it is the right time to release their movie. Moreover, no other Tamil biggie has reserved the Ramzan slot and thus, Cobra wants to grab it. An official confirmation about this news will be out soon.
KGF fame Srinidhi Shetty is playing the female lead in this movie. This marks her debut in the Tamil film industry. Meanwhile, popular cricketer Irfan Pathan, who recently retired from all forms of cricket, is essaying an important character in this action thriller.
Cobra is being produced by SS Lalit Kumar under his banner Seven Screen Studio. AR Rahman is composing the music for it.
