Comedian Bharti Singh reveals Kapil Sharma is not keen on restarting shoots amid Coronavirus

A few weeks ago the Maharashtra government permitted the resumption of shooting for films and TV shows as long they follow all social distancing guidelines. However, not everyone in the industry is keen on getting back to work just yet. In a recent digital interview comedian, Bharti Singh has revealed that her co-star and friend Kapil Sharma is not yet keen on resuming shooting. Bharti revealed that they are not going to begin shooting for The Kapil Sharma show at least until June 30.
Speaking to Times of India Bharti said "Still the situation is not right to start the shoot. Kapil bhai (sharma) is not very keen to start the shoot. He has requested to wait at least till June 30th because there is no point in starting the shoot now because the danger is still there. Nobody wants to risk the life of any staff member or anyone else. We have not been informed by the production house till now, but if they decide to start the shoot I will be the happiest."
Some other reports also suggest that Kapil Sharma is planning on shooting from home itself. If this proves true The Kapil Sharma show will be shooting without a studio audience for the first time since its debut on television.
Bharti also added saying, "In fact, the creatives are working on many things currently as our shoots have studio audiences but now with new guidelines, it is not possible to shoot with them. Also, films are not releasing at the moment so even that is an area of concern... Even the guests should be open to travel."
Bharti Singh also debunked rumors about Sonu Sood being the first guest on The Kapil Sharma show once the show resumes shooting.
