Chiyaan Vikram has collaborated with 'Demonte Colony' and 'Imaikka Nodigal' fame director Ajay Gnanamuthu and is going to come up with a mystery thriller. Srinidhi Shetty is playing the female lead in the movie.
Cricketer Irfan Pathan is playing a crucial role in this film. Yesterday, the makers unveiled the title motion poster revealing that the title of the film is going to be 'Cobra.' When asked more about the title, "The protagonist's character and cobra has a connection. Revealing any small detail will give away the storyline," said Ajay Gnanamuthu who has been tight-lipped about the story. He added that as the movie will get released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi, he wanted a title that works in all languages and hence zeroed down on 'Cobra'. He added that 50% of the film shooting has been wrapped up. After completing the Chennai schedule very soon, the movie unit will be heading abroad to wrap up the rest of the shooting. Most of the shooting will take place in Russia and Europe. Also, the first look will be out by the end of January.
SS Lalit Kumar under Lalit 7 Screen Studio is backing this project. AR Rahman is composing tunes for this film which is aiming for a grand Summer release in 2020.
