COVID-19: Bollywood celebrities sharing their insight on Corona Virus

Most public places are on lockdown because of COVID-19. Government officials, of course, are doing their bit to spread awareness about the disease, and also offer precautionary facilities. The entertainment industry is also reeling from the effects of this pandemic. A slew of Bollywood celebrities are sharing their insight and support to their fans in these trying times. Priyanka Chopra, Arjun Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra and Varun Dhawan are among the many celebrities spreading awareness about this novel virus.

 
Priyanka Chopra informed her fans about the false rumors regarding Corona. Through Twitter, she suggested that her fans should only trust the information being shared by UNICEF. She tweeted, "Misinformation during a health crisis can leave us unprotected, spread fear & panic. Knowing the facts is key to protecting yourself & your family. Visit the @UNICEF website for reliable information on how to talk to children about #coronavirus”.
 
 
Parineeti Chopra, on the other hand, shared a helpful message about the virus on her Instagram handle. She extended her gratitude towards the doctors and medical staff battling this virus worldwide. She wrote in the message, ''While all of us have the ''luxury'' to be house arrested and waiting for news- please spare a thought for the doctors and the medical staff around the world who are risking their lives, away from their families, to save us! Exactly like our soldiers to at a war. Thank you guys, we will NEVER, EVER be able to repay you"
 
​Richa Chadha took a stand for small businesses and wage workers. The government shutdown is affecting them the most. She highlighted this by writing, "Dear government, Please announce a bailout for the small businesses... or this lockdown will be the last nail in their coffin, Announce relief/daily wage workers. We’re staring a disaster in the face! Politics can wait. #SaveIndiaFromCOVID19".
 
Sonakshi Sinha has been the most updated and consistent. She is sharing information and precautions about this illness every day. She talked about the importance of sanitizers, social distancing, and masks. She shared a message on Instagram about the safety of the house helps. She wrote, "In this time when we're taking every precaution for your safety and your family's safety let's not forget about the safety of our house help, home, and office staff...please don't send out your house helps, drivers, to run errands on your behalf or send them in crowded places what you think is not safe for you is not safe for them either. Kindly be considerate towards them."
 
Arjun Kapoor sent out a strict message to the paparazzi amid the outbreak. He requested the media to be 'sensible' and 'sensitive'. He wrote, "I love my job and am okay with the attention media gives but genuinely I don't believe now is the time for us to be normal and just pose of images getting in and out of trying to maintain a sane life.” Adding, “Short term distance is better for long term proximity that everyone enjoys...Stay healthy and stay home.”
 
Varun Dhawan also joined this league of celebrities. He shared an important message on Instagram about the safety of Earth. He wrote, "As we all battle this virus. I think it is time we realize that the human race has been extremely selfish. It’s time we introspect. We share this planet with many other species. Development is important but not at the cost of killing other species. We will overcome this but we must realize that messing with Mother Nature comes at a cost." He shared it with a picture of Earth wearing a mask.
