The lockdown has had many effects on our day-to-day lives. For a huge population, the lockdown might have turned into a nightmare. The nightmare that might be haunting many is domestic violence. Virat Kohli just posted a video initiated by the Akshara Centre. Other celebrities such as Rahul Bose, Madhuri Dixit, Anushka Sharma, Vidya Balan, Karan Johar feature in the video.

Akshara Centre is a women's rights organization. The centre works with young men and women, violence against women, sexuality, paid and unpaid work and inclusive and safe cities.

Virat posted the video with the caption, "If you have been a victim, witness or a survivor of the domestic violence, please report. #LockdownOnDomesticViolence #Dial100 @cmomaharashtra_ #DGPMaharashtra @adityathackeray @aksharacentreindia."

The video urges people to report domestic violence. The video starts off by stating that there has been a sharp increase in the number of domestic violoncello cases. The video urges people to break their silence on domestic violence; report it if you are a witness, report it if you are a victim. The main message of the video is "Let's put a lockdown on domestic violence." The video urges people to dial 100 and report all incidents of domestic violence.

Meanwhile, Virat and Anushka are spending their quarantine time playing board games and making funny videos for their Instagram. They have also come out to help those affected by the COVID-19 crisis.
