Daggubati Venkatesh to shoot in Ananthapur

Daggubati Venkatesh made a strong comeback in 2019 by scoring two back to back hits with F2 and Venky Mama. The actor is re-energized with the response he got for both the films and is planning to continue this red-hot form. His next film will be the Telugu remake of recent Tamil blockbuster Asuran. Srikanth Addala will helm this project. Both Venkatesh and Srikanth Addala have worked together earlier for the film Seethamma Vaakitlo Sirimalle Chettu.

According to the grapevine, the shoot of this film will kickstart from the 20th of this month. We hear that the entire film will get filmed in the surroundings of the Ananthapur area. Apparently, the makers have finalized quite a few rustic locations around Ananthapur, which gives an authentic feel of the Rayalaseema region. It seems that the first schedule will happen for 30 days. The makers have planned for 130 shooting days for the film.
Earlier, Shriya was in consideration for the female lead role but now, she got replaced by Priyamani. This will be the first film in the combination of Venky and Priyamani. Directed by Vetrimaaran, Asuran had Dhanush and Manju Warrier in the lead roles. It ran for 100 days in Tamil Nadu.
