Bollywood actress Mallika Sherawat got wide popularity by acting in films like Murder, Pyaar Ke Side Effects, and Hisss. She has also acted alongside Jackie Chan in the movie The Myth. Of late, Mallika is not getting good offers and the actress is preferring to stay off the work. She was last seen in the web series Booo Sabki Phategi, directed by Farhad Samji. It is currently streaming on Alt Balaji.
Meanwhile, Mallika has finally signed a film after a long time. She will be soon acting in a Tamil film called Pambattam, directed by VC Vadivudaiyan. The movie's team has officially confirmed the news by announcing it on social media. Speaking to a leading media daily, VC Vadivudaiyan said that he went to Mumbai to narrate the script to Mallika. Apparently, the actress said that she will do it only if has a significant character in the movie. After hearing out the story, she has given an immediate nod to act in it. The director also added that Mallika will be playing the role of a modern-day queen in the film.
She will be joining the sets very soon. Mallika acted in Dashavataram and then did an item song in Simbu's Osthe. This is her third film in Tamil.
