‘Dear Comrade’ release date locked?
2018 has been a noteworthy year for the Tollywood’s ‘Rowdy’ Vijay Devarakonda. Mahanati and Geetha Govindam has recorded two of the chartbusters in his career after which NOTA didn’t fetch well at the box office. However, it didn’t affect Vijay's career graph as his fans were still in the hit hangover of the previous two consecutive films.
Taxiwaala his latest flick was also a hit which increased the anticipations in Vijay’s fans about his next. In one of the interactions with media, Vijay opened up saying that he was feeling exhausted and over-exposed with back to back releases. So, did Vijay hint his fans that there will be only two to three releases from this year?
His next and first for the year ‘Dear Comrade’ helmed by Bharat Kamma finished 90% of the shoot and is getting ready to hit the screens on 22nd May this year. As it completed the maximum of its shooting, many have speculated that the movie will release in April. But with the big announcement of Maharshi which will release on 25th April, the makers of ‘Dear Comrade’ have decided to take at least four weeks survival gap.
Vijay Devarakonda is going to pair up with his Geetha Govindam’s co-star Rashmika Mandanna which is another good omen for this movie.
