Deepika Padukone chats with her childhood friends during the lockdown period

Even though Deepika Padukone is a world-famous actress right now, she always remains to the ground. She stays simple and behaves down to earth all the time. Although she gets surrounded by glam-sham all the time, Deepika remained close to a few childhood friends of her. Recently, the actress had a video chat with them as well. She later posted the screenshot of the call on her Instagram story feed. At the bottom of her story, Deepika also posted a few emojis showing how her gang looks 50 years from now on.

According to her story, Deepika had a chat with her friends Sneha Ramchander and Divya Narayan. The occasion seems to be the birthday of Sneha. In the picture, we can see all of them smiling at their cameras. It looks like the girls went on a nostalgic trip during their call.

Deepika is staying at home during this lockdown period. She, along with her husband Ranveer Singh, is making the most of this quarantine by cooking new recipes, working out daily, and enjoying each other's company. Recently, Ranveer posted a picture of Deepika cooking. Apparently, Deepika cooked Italian and Thai dishes for dinner. A few days back, Deepika was also supposed to chat with WHO's director-general Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, to discuss the mental health issues. The session got canceled at the last minute due to unavoidable circumstances. Deepika said that the session is on hold as of now, and will happen sometime later.

On the film front, Deepika was last seen in the film Chhappak.
