Versatile actress Deepika Padukone is one of the most talented actresses in Bollywood. She has been picking up content-oriented films lately. Irrespective of the hits and flops, Deepika Padukone is trying to bring out her best to impress and entertain the audiences.
The actress who recently appeared in 'Chhappaak' got acclaimed for her performance in the film. Now, the actor turned producer is all set to come up with an ambitious project, Mahabharat as a producer. The actress will be co-producing the high budget project with Madhu Matena and is also playing the role of Draupadi in the film. During an interview, Deepika said, “Making the Mahabharat is not like making any other film. Be it the scale of production or the budget or the costumes, it will take five times longer to execute. This is my most ambitious project".
Apart from this project, Deepika Padukone is also playing the role of her real-life husband Ranveer Singh's on-screen wife.
Deepika Padukone also plans to venture in to South film industry and she is already in talks with the filmmakers down South.
