In this pattern, the actress made a recent announcement that she would be collaborating with the WHO Director-General, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus. They will be discussing the significance of mental health during this pandemic. The conversation is to take place on Instagram on April 23 at 6pm UAE time.
This move by the actress is not well received by many across the country. The primary reason for the trolls is that many uphold WHO responsible for the damage that the pandemic is causing too many nation’s economies at the present moment. People believe that WHO has not acted promptly with warning countries about COVID-19, and that they didn’t check for misinformation wisely. Trolls aren’t new for the actress. However, she hasn’t responded to any yet. On the work front, Deepika’s two upcoming projects, 83 a Kabir Khan directorial and an untitled film by Shakun Batra, are now at halt due to the nation wide lockdown.
