Dhanush Contributes Lyrics To Vaathi's Debut Single, GV Prakash Provides A Glimpse

Vaathi is Dhanush's first bilingual Tamil-Telugu project. The National Award-winning actor Dhanush is also a well-known lyricist and playback singer. In his career, the multi-talented artist has written lyrics for numerous chart-toppers and contributed his voice, including "Megham Karukatha" from the recently released hit Thiruchitrambalam. It's interesting to note that Dhanush will once again write lyrics for his upcoming film Vaathi. The highly awaited project, which is being directed by acclaimed Telugu filmmaker Venky Atluri, is set to release its first song on Thursday, November 10.

A preview of the first single from the movie Vaathi was just released by National Award-winning composer GV Prakash, who also wrote the original score and lyrics for the movie.

In the video, GV Prakash can be seen playing the song's tune on his piano as Dhanush stands nearby and sings the song. It is clear from the song video that the first single from Vaathi is a lovely melody with a chance to become an immediate hit. Dhanush continues to amaze with his beautiful performance of the tune, which initially tells the romance from the viewpoint of a woman. The debut track from Vaathi is currently being highly anticipated by Dhanush fans and music enthusiasts alike. The film, which is directed by Venky Atluri, is Dhanush's first multilingual endeavour. The gifted actor plays a young teacher in Vaathi, which is being released in Telugu under the title Sir, who is driven to reform the faltering educational system. The film, which is produced by Sithara Entertainments, stars Samyuktha Menon as the female lead.
