The racy action drama "Captain Miller," which stars Dhanush and directed by Arun Matheswaran, is said to be set in the 1930s. Dhanush has been taking a break from acting in order to get a fantastic new look, with long hair and a full beard. Today's muhurat puja marked the start of "Captain Miller" filming, and the cast will now travel to Tenkasi for the majority of the film's principal photography.

After finishing the filming for the multilingual movie "Vaathi," Dhanush was rumoured to begin filming this next movie in October. But the shoot started earlier in September itself. According to reports, Dhanush has a significant role in the film, which also features personalities from the revolution and revolt. The movie will be concurrently released in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi and is planned to have a large budget. On the workfront, after the success of Thiruchitrambalam, he is awaiting the release of Naane Varuven, directed by his brother Selvaraghavan. The film is set for a release on September 29.
