Versatile actor Dhanush has pan-Indian popularity. His films have a good run in Telugu as well. Thus, the actor prefers to dub most of his movies into Telugu. Dhanush's next film Jagame Thathiram will also have a release in Telugu. The Telugu version of this movie got named as Jagame Thantram. The first look poster of this film is out now. The poster says that the film hits the screens once the Jagam (world) heals.
The first look poster featured a digital illustration of Dhanush made by a lot of visas and passports stamps. This illustration gives us a hint about the film's plotline as well. Jagame Thantram is being directed by Karthik Subbaraj. This talented young filmmaker earlier made films like Pizza, Mercury, and Petta. Jagame Thanthram was actually supposed to hit the screens today. But the ongoing lockdown has pushed its release. Thus, the makers have decided to release this new poster. The caption of the poster read, "Coming Soon to Cinemas...After Our Jagam Heals."
The rights of the Telugu version got bagged by Geetha Arts and UV Creations. This gives the film a platform to have a wide release in the Telugu states. Sanchana Natarajan and Aishwarya Lekshmi play the female leads in this film. James Cosmo, Joju George, and Soundararaja essayed the other important roles in this movie. Santosh Narayan has composed the music for it and Shreyaas Krishna handled the cinematography. The new release date of the film will be out once the lockdown gets lifted. Until then, stay tuned.
