Dhanush's Naane Varuven Mints 8 Crores From The First Day

Naane Varuvean, starring Dhanush, had its theatrical debut yesterday . It is presently screening in theatres all over the world. The movie received favourable reviews upon release. But it didn't have any exclusive morning shows. In his reunion with his brother and director Selvaraghavan, Dhanush performed two roles. It appears the two get along well together because the movie is receiving positive reviews everywhere. On its opening day, a working Thursday, the movie had a respectable occupancy. It made over Rs 8 crore in worldwide box office revenue; in Tamil Nadu, it did about Rs 6 crore.

There has been no improvement for Dhanush at the box office from his prior theatrical movie, "Thiruchitrambalam". It was released in August and made roughly Rs 10 crores on its opening day. As Mani Ratnam's "Ponniyin Selvan" has been released and there are huge anticipation for the magnum opus historical film that is released in five languages, the screen counts for "Naane Varuvean" have also decreased as of today.

In the plot of "Naane Varuvean," twin brothers Prabhu and Kathir are forced to reconcile after a long separation. The horror movie is a gripping thriller that can be experienced in theatres. It is full of surprises and twists. Fans in the theatres went wild when Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the song and used it as the background soundtrack for numerous scenes.
