Power Star Pawan Kalyan has taken a long break from films in order to focus on his political career. After a gap of two years, the Jalsa actor is all set to put makeup on his face. He is prepping up to act in the Telugu remake of Pink, which is being directed by Sriram Venu of MCA fame.
Ace producer Dil Raju is bankrolling this project and Thaman is composing the music for it. Last night, Dil Raju attended the pre-release event of Prathi Roju Pandaage. Meanwhile, the shoot of Pink remake will go on floors in January 2020. The makers are planning to release it in summer. Nivetha Thomas will play the other lead role in the film. Pink is a 2016 courtroom drama that had Amitabh Bachchan and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles. It was remade into Tamil as Nerkonda Paravaai with Ajith as the lead. Both Hindi and Tamil versions became big hits at the box office.
