Enna Solla Pogirai is a heartwarming romantic drama, directed by debutant Hariharan. The film features Ashwin Kumar, Pugazh, and Teju Ashwini in lead roles. The film was released in theatres on January 13.
Director Hariharan, in a statement, said, "In simple terms, an RJ has become the family member of every home thanks to the non-stop entertainment. I felt Ashwin Kumar Lakshmikanthan would duly look perfect for this character. Thanks to his beautiful rendition of Tamil lines. Of course, he is a Tamil-speaking hero, but it’s not as easy as we think to adapt the flair linguistics of a Radio Jockey, which he accomplished easily. I am glad that he has stepped into these shoes and givens his best shot, thereby giving a perfect reflection of this press-media professional. Ashwin plays Vikram, an RJ in Radio Mirchi FM Station with a congenial nature, and loves to move around his close friend Chitti. Pugazh plays the role of Chitti, who runs a pub in the heart of Chennai city. Well, the pub looks cool for the party animals, but the owners have their challenges to keep the business afloat. So is our Chitti, who loves to shoot the breeze anytime with his buddy Vikram. A perfect partner-in-crime indeed!!”
