Director Major Ravi planning to make a film on the recent Galwan attack

The recent face-off between the Indian and Chinese Army at the Galwan Bridge. Now, Malayalam director Major Ravi is planning to make a film on it. The filmmaker will himself reveal more details on this movie very soon.

According to the sources, the film will focus on the construction of Bridge over Galwan river in Eastern Ladakh. Major Ravi is best known for making Army-based films. He is popular for movies like Keerthi Chakra, Mission 90 Days, Kurukshetra, Khandahar, Karmayodha, and Picket 43. More details about this movie will get announced soon. We are hearing that Mohanlal will play a key role in the movie but there is no confirmation about it. Mohanlal and Major Ravi collaborated for the films Kirthi Chakra, Kurukshetra, Khandahar, and 1971: Beyond Borders.
Major Ravi's last directorial film was 1971: Beyond Borders. This war-drama featured Mohanlal in the lead role. The story of this movie is heavily based on the 1971 Indo-Pakistan War. Arunoday Singh and Allu Sirish played the other important roles in this 2017 release. While Mohanlal's character got inspired by Hoshiar Singh and Sirish's role got based on Khetarpal. Both of them are the Paran Veera Chakra recipients.
Apart from direction, Ravi appears as an actor as well. Major Ravi appeared as an actor in the recently released film Varane Avashyamund. Directed by Anoop Sathyan, this movie featured Dulquer Salmaan, Suresh Gopi, Shobana, and Kalyani Priyadarshan in the lead roles. It was a super hit at the box office.
