The International Film Festival of India, in the 50th edition, brings some big filmmakers on board for several events. Director Priyadarshan also comes up with an important message to all the moviegoers.
Priyadarshan says that film Festivals like IFFI are the best schools for aspiring filmmakers. He spoke the same in a video. He also heads the committee of Indian Panorama.
"I started my career from All India Radio. Normally talking about film festivals, there will be many doubts. I believe that film festivals definitely act as schools for aspiring filmmakers. I am really excited to see the number of films growing. It should happen and at the same time, the infrastructure also should grow. Thanks to the I & B ministry. The people should come up with more such good movies. The selection committees this year did a great job and I appreciate the selection of films this year and I am excited to see all of them and wish a great success to everyone involved with the movie festival. I urge the moviegoers who do not have the exposure to film festivals to watch films and it will help them to come across some good films." revealed Priyadarshan in a video.
