Meera Jasmine has played many notable roles in Malayalam cinema. Meera has taken a break from acting since the release of the 2016 film ‘Pathu Kalpanakal’. Now, after a long hiatus, Meera is back to acting with Sathyan Anthikkad. In an interview with Dubai News, Meera said that she is returning to the cinema because of the audience. The actress spoke about the new film in an interview following her acceptance of the UAE Golden Visa.
This will become Meera Jasmine’s fifth film with Sathyan Anthikkad. However, Meera clarified that this film should not be compared to the Sathyan Anthikkad films she has done before.
Meera Jasmine says that her decision to come back is to take part in better films. “I'm very happy that the audience wants my return. That was the main reason that prompted me to return to the cinema. The decision is to be an active part of good movies now. And I have done four films with Santhyan Uncle. This is the fifth film. I’m very happy with it;” said Meera.
Meera jasmine added that the new film is different from what she has done before. “When I’m doing a Sathyan movie again, everyone compares to Chemistry and Achuvinte Amma. Do not compare this movie with that. This is another Sathyan Anthikkad movie. I have a good character in it. And I think this is a good start. My prayer is that there will be more good movies after this movie;” Meera Jasmine added.
