Kollywood star Karthi who is riding high with the success of his 'Khaidi' movie is all set to test his luck with another gripping action drama 'Thambi' under the direction of 'Drishyam' fame Jeethu Joseph.
Suriya's wife Jyothika is playing Karthi's sister in the film. Sathyaraj is playing the role of Karthi and Jyothika's father in the movie which is going to get released as 'Donga' in Telugu. Today, the makers have unveiled the theatrical trailer of the film. It showcases that the entire story revolves around Jyothika and her long lost brother Karthi who finally reunites after 15 long years and tries to mend their relationship and go through the tough times in their lives together. The trailer hinted that the movie is going to be a perfect family entertainer.
Suraj Sadanah's is bankrolling this project. Govinda Vasantha of '96' fame is composing music for this film which is gearing up for December release.
