Latest reports suggest that the sequel to the film ‘Drishyam’ will begin or start soon. Earlier, there were speculations about ‘Drishyam 2’ soon after the release of the original version in Malayalam. The Malayalam film ‘Drishyam 2’ directed by Jeethu Joseph was a blockbuster hit.
According to the latest reports, Tabu, Ajay Devgn, and Ishita Datta will soon begin the shoot of 'Drishyam 2'. Reportedly, the film will start shooting in December 2021.
The film ‘Drishyam’ is a remake of the Malayalam film of the same name. The film was well-received by the audience and critics alike.
‘Drishyam’ directed by Jeethu Joseph is one of the best hits of all time in Malayalam. The film starred Mohanlal in the lead role. The film was later remade in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Hindi. The film has been remade in two foreign languages, Sinhala and Chinese. Drishyam is the first Malayalam film to have a remake in Chinese.
Meanwhile, Ajay began filming for Indra Kumar's film 'Thank God' at a Mumbai studio a few days ago. A source revealed to Etimes that Sidharth Malhotra will join the set soon. “The makers have built heaven's set at the studio and, as the title suggests, God plays an important role in the film. Sidharth Malhotra and Rakul Preet will be joining the shoot very soon;” said the source to ETimes.
Ajay was recently seen in Om Raut's 'Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior,' in which he co-starred with Kajol, Saif Ali Khan, Sharad Kelkar, and Neha Sharma.
With a fascinating web series, the star is preparing for a spectacular OTT debut. He's collaborating on a digital show with Esha Deol and Ileana D'Cruz called 'Rudra.' Ajay also has a cameo role in SS Rajamaouli’s RRR. He also has his own directorial venture ‘Mayday’ in his kitty.
Meanwhile, tabu is busy shooting for 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2'. She will soon start working on 'Kuttey' which marks the directorial debut of Vishal Bhardwaj's son, Aasmaan Bhardwaj.
