After a long time actress Nayanthara has finally appeared in a public function. Zee Family conducted its first-ever award function, called Zee Cine Awards 2020. The juries are Suhasini Manirathnam, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Bharath Bala, Karu Palaniappan and Bharadwaj Rangan who work for the film companion. The channel successfully completed its celebrated award function in the presence of many stars of the Kollywood industry. However, the lady superstar turned out to steal the thunder and bagged Best Actress for her movie Viswasam with Ajith and the prestigious Sridevi Award for inspiring women of Indian cinema.
In a male-dominated industry, Nayanthara is the only lady in the list of Tamil superstars. For this, she has already captured the tag of ‘Lady Superstar’ and remains the only female star to have a market across the state.
Ruling box office queen Nayanthara is a member of more than 700 crores in three languages, in 2019. While fans of Ajith and Vijay are grappling over the box-office figures of Viswasam and Bigil, the common factor in both these mega blockbusters is Nayanthara!
