Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, Salman and Virat are staying out of Mumbai

Due to the COVID-19 outbreak, people are being advised to practice social distancing and the nation is undergoing a 21-day lockdown to curb further spread of the virus. Starting March 25th, 2020 the restricted movement came into force, however, many responsible citizens have been on self-quarantine for longer than this. In this background, people are bound to deal with a lot of anxiety and uncertainty, both adults and kids. Despite continuous efforts to curb down the virus, the number of cases around the world has been increasing each day. In this background, few celebrities have decided to stay out of Mumbai, and away from the crowd, in order to reduce their chances of contracting with the virus. This news doesn’t come as a shocker since Maharashtra is reportedly the state holding the maximum number of COVID-19 cases in India. Prior to the commencement of the nationwide lockdown, Bollywood Bhai actor Salman Khan, along with his family moved to their farmhouse in Panvel to observe quarantine. Similarly, the Bollywood famous couple, Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli are residing presently in Alibaug. The couple put out an Instagram video urging and appealing citizens to stay indoors and maintain social distance.

Based on the reports from Mumbai Mirror, Salman Khan’s parents are reportedly residing in Mumbai itself, while Bhai along with his sister Arpita Khan and her kids, went on to stay at his fully equipped farmhouse in Panvel. The farmhouse stands in the middle of trees with fresh fruits and vegetables. Other than Virat and Salman, South Indian actor Prakash Raj has also moved away from city life. He is residing in a village with his family. He took to twitter to share the same news. His words read, “ I am experiencing village life for the first time.”
