The video of Sindhu saying that she has seen the movie Bangalore Days in Malayalam and that Dulquer Salmaan is her favorite actor is going viral. Sindhu opened her mind in an interview with Club FM.
“I have seen Bangalore Days. I like Dulquer Salmaan very much. I have also seen his film Ok Kanmani;” P V Sindhu said.
Sindhu won a bronze medal at Tokyo Olympics. Sindhu’s victory was through direct games in the battle for the bronze medal between Chinese star Bing Jiao and Sindhu.
This is Sindhu’s second consecutive Olympic medal. With this, Sindhu became the first Indian woman to win a medal in two Olympics. P V Sindhu was a silver medalist at the last Rio Olympics.
This is India’s second medal at the Tokyo Olympics. In the 49 kg weightlifting category, India's Mirabai Chanu won silver.
In the semi-finals, Sindhu lost to world number one Tai Tzu-Ying. Sindhu defeated Japan's Akane Yamaguchi in the quarter-finals for two straight sets.
