One week ahead of his film Bheeshma's release, Nithiin declared the marriage with his longtime girlfriend Shalini Reddy. The couple gets engaged on April 15th and will tie a knot on April 16th. Meanwhile, Nithiin revealed that he met Shalini in 2012 for the first time and he is the first one to propose her as well.
Speaking in a recent interview, Nithiin said that he met Shalini through a mutual friend in 2012. Later on, we became very good friends. I was the first one to propose her. Even she agreed to it immediately. Then, we were in a relationship for a few years. Finally, they informed their respective families last year and they immediately agreed for their marriage. The marriage will take place in Dubai in the presence of both the families and a few close friends and relatives. Nithiin added that they will host a reception for celebrities on the 21st of April.
Nithiin also stated that he got to know many things about marriage during the shoot of Srinivasa Kalyanam. He realized that a lot of work goes into marriage when his wedding works started at home recently. Nithiin is currently busy with the release works of Bheeshma, which is hitting the theatres on this Friday.
