Evelyn Sharma gets engaged in Sydney

Actress Evelyn Sharma, who has been dating Australian dental surgeon and entrepreneur, Dr Tushaan Bhindi, for over a year now, got engaged to him on Saturday. The scene was quite romantic as he proposed to her on the famous Harbour Bridge in Sydney. Tushaan arranged for a guitarist to play their favourite songs in the background, while he went down on his knee and read out a special note penned by him. The setting was magical. While speaking to Bombay Times, the actress revealed, "it was a dream come true! Tushaan knows me so well..... His proposal was perfect!"

Sharing more about their love story, she said, "We met on a blind date last year, which was set up by our good friend. The actress revealed that her Beau is more romantic and "filmy" than her. The couple got along with their shared passion for philanthropic causes. Friends of the two say it was love at first sight and that they were anticipating the big announcement to happen soon. The couple introduced each other to their respective families first to get their blessings. When asked about a wedding date, she replied, "we will make a separate announcement for that once the date is set. For now, we will like to enjoy our time together." The actress might shift base to Australia as Sydney is one of her favourite places. But they will also have a home in India.
