Fans' Celebration During 'Thiruchitrambalam' Goes Awry

Dhanush's 'Thiruchitrambalam' is now in theatres, and the makers chose a Thursday release date to allow for a longer weekend. Dhanush's first theatrical release in a year, fans went crazy in theatres as they saw their favourite star on the silver screen after a long time.

To commemorate the film, fans usually dance in front of the screen during the hero's introduction and the opening songs. Dhanush fans who danced near the silver screen at Rohini Silver Screens in Chennai during the second showing of 'Thiruchitrambalam' tore the big screens, causing the theatre owner to suffer financial losses.

Meanwhile, netizens accuse fans of such behaviour of upsetting theatre owners and patrons. It's worth noting that Dhanush and Anirudh Ravichander previously watched the FDFS of 'Thiruchitrambalam' in the same Chennai theatre and thanked fans for the warm reception to the film. Pictures of Dhanush and Anirudh Ravichander posing with fans have surfaced on the internet, and the actors were also seen hugging each other as they reunited for the film after a long absence.

'Thiruchitrambalam,' directed by Mithran Jawahar, has received positive reviews, and Dhanush has delivered a feel-good family entertainer amidst the action and social dramas to delight fans. Nithya Menen comes in second with her pleasing role in the film, while Raashi Khanna, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Prakash Raj, and Bharathiraja round out the cast.
