Farhan Akhtar expresses disappointment at Indian censors for blurring out alcohol bottles

The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) recently asked the makers of the Christian Bale and Matt Damon's upcoming film 'Ford v Ferrari' to blur out pictures of alcohol bottles and glasses containing alcohol from the film. Farhan Akhtar is extremely displeased with this decision and took to social media to make sure the Indian censors know how he feels about it.

He tweeted, “The day is not far when they’ll just have the script read out in theatres. Why the Indian adult is treated like a delinquent who can’t think for him/herself or tell right from wrong is beyond me!!"

The resentment in his tone is quite evident.

The blurred out alcohol bottles and glasses affect the audience’s viewing and disrupt the experience to a great extent.

Meanwhile, on the professional front, Farhan was recently seen opposite Priyanka Chopra in The Sky Is Pink and is currently getting ready for his next project called Toofan which bases on a boxer's life.
