French films grabbing attention in MAMI

At the 21st edition of MAMI International Film Festival, the French Films stand out as a special attraction.

French films grabbing attention in MAMI

Every year, Jio MAMI gives special attention to the best works of French Cinema and takes them under a specially designed category called, “Rendezvous with French Cinema.” Many French classics got screened under this section in the past, and even this time, there are a few French masterpieces lined up on the schedule.  

A total of 10 French films are being screened in this edition and they are By The Grace of God, Deerskin, Delphine and Carol, I Lost My Body, Les Miserables, Oh Mercy, Varda by Agnes, Wasp Network, Who You Think I Am and Zombi Child.   
The documentary on the legendary filmmaker Agnes Varda, Varda by Agnes, crime drama Les Miserables and the animated film I Lost My Body are a few of the festival favourites of this edition. All these films have multiple screenings at various venues throughout the course of the festival. MAMI starts on 17th of this month and end on the 24th.
