It has been a long time since we saw director Gautham Menon's film on the big screen. His last directorial was Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo which was a 2016 film. Later, he made Enai Noki Paayum Thota with Dhanush (Thoota in Telugu), which struggled a lot for its release.
Finally, it cleared all the hurdles and hitting the screens on the 29th of this month. Meanwhile, two of Gautham's other films, Joshua and Dhruva Natchathiram are also gearing up for their releases in early 2020. Currently, the director is planning for another project with star actress Anushka in the lead role.
According to the sources, Gautham will be adapting one of the scripts of renowned director, Govind Nihalani. We are not sure of which film of Govind is he adapting, though. Earlier, Govind's Drohkaal was remade into Tamil as Kuruthipunal (Drohi in Telugu), starring Kamal Haasan, Arjun, and Gauthami. That was a big hit in Tamil.
Now, we hope Gautham will also churn out a masterpiece from Govind's film. The director himself will announce more details on the film soon. Meanwhile, there is also news that Gautham Menon is planning to do a project with actor Suriya.
