We already know that the Mumbai Academy of Moving Images (MAMI) International Film Festival is currently going on, and so many movie buffs are eager to watch International films at the festival.
The 7-day film festival got started on October 17th and will take place till October 24th. But, because of the elections in Maharashtra, everyone thought that most of the theatres would be empty today on October 21st. But it seems like elections haven't affected the theatre occupancy much. As per the latest reports, after 2 PM, most of the noon shows got decent occupancies. It seems like the people went to vote in the morning and attended the film festival in the afternoon as most of the shows after 2:00 PM got Housefull.
On the other hand, so many movies like Nivin Pauly's 'Moothon', Konkana Sen Sharma's 'Ramprasad ki Tervi', Hollywood movies 'The Irishman', etc. got screened at MAMI.
