Ever since BJP came into power in India, there is a section of media celebrities who have been opposing the ideologies of the government. There are many Bollywood celebrities on this list. They have opposed government's stand on mob lynchings, CAA act, Kashmir lockdown and the recent Delhi protests. The pro-government celebrities have always supported their decisions. Everyone has their own ideologies. Rarely do we see celebrities taking on each other due to their political stand. Now, director Harish Shankar lashed out on all the Bollywood liberal celebrities on being silent on the recent attacks that happened on Sadhus in Maharashtra. This controversial tweet of Harish is now going viral all over social media.
Harish posted a picture of liberal celebrities and tweeted, "Am I missing their tweets or they missing from Twitter??" The photo included Anurag Kashyap, Swara Bhaskar, Zeeshan Ayyub, Rana Ayyub, Vishal Dadlani, Huma Qureshi and a couple of others. Harish indirectly alleged that these liberals are silent on the Sadhu attack only due to their leftist ideology. Harish's tweet came in as a shocker for many as the director clearly stated his political stand with this tweet. We have to see if any of the mentioned liberals will respond to Harish's claims.
On the career front, Harish's last directorial venture was 2019 film, Gaddalakonda Ganesh. It was a super hit at the box office. His next film is with Pawan Kalyan, which will go on floors by the end of this year. This project is being bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers.
